Our Memory Care at our Markham Club offers various programs tailored to the interests, abilities, and cognitive and physical capabilities of each individual Member. Everyone has access to professional nursing, therapies, recreational activities, healthy meals, and specialized personal care such as massages, manicures/pedicures, and hair services.
Our Markham Club has a theatre, Member kitchen, golf putting green, and an easy-to-navigate layout. The entire environment has state-of-the-art security and safety features included in the overnight accommodation suites and throughout the club.

Accommodations and Suite Details
For short-term and long-term stays, our Markham suites are available as private studios or suites for couples. Each suite is fully furnished with modern home-like amenities designed with the needs of Members. Safety and security features such as motion sensors, intercoms, and lighting are installed strategically throughout the suite and bathroom.

I only have positive things to say about Memory and Co. All the staff are very friendly, engaged and attentive to everyone’s needs. They constantly have various activities going on, whether it’s simple trivia, games or singalongs with live music. I can absolutely say they treat all the residents very well and you can tell they strive to make it the best experience possible for everyone. I highly recommend Memory and Co if you have a family member suffering from Alzheimer’s and dementia.
Memory and Company is by far the best facility in York Region for anyone with dementia or alzheimer’s. After visiting many facilities, I was pleasantly surprised to find that they offer a full day program as part of their short stay and full time accommodation packages! They spent the time to get to know my mother and worked with us to adjust my mother’s medications so that she is comfortable, safe and happy. The staff are friendly and caring, the facility and accommodations clean, spacious and inviting, and the home cooked meals delicious. They send regular communications about upcoming events, and quickly follow up on items that require attention. And, their pricing is very reasonable. As I said, they are THE BEST facility in York Region!

Our Markham Memory Care Accommodation Rates
Our overnight accommodations begin at $330 per night with a fully furnished private suite with a two-piece washroom, use of common space, three meals and two snacks daily, housekeeping, laundry, utilities, 24-hour nursing care, medication management, basic care package, and bathing assistance, as well as access to our Premium Day Program.
All of our Membership fees are HST exempt and tax deductible and may be covered by some critical care health spending accounts, long-term care insurance, and life insurance plans.
Staff Expertise
Our highly qualified and compassionate Team Members have experience and education in the direct care of those living with Memory Loss. We have Recreation Therapists, Personal Support Workers, Social Workers, Nurses, and Gerontologists onsite at all times.
The various stages of dementia, Parkinson’s disease, stroke, Alzheimer’s, brain injuries, and Memory Loss require full support and attention which are part of our goals at Memory & Company. Our Member to Team Member ratio stands at a minimum of 5:1 to ensure proper care and support is given to every Member.
